Yes, you definitely can. You can join from both a computer and a phone. You need internet access and an email address where we can send you emails. You will receive a startup email and be guided to the most important startup material and the Facebook group. If you find the Facebook group overwhelming, you can choose to stay only in the health universe on the website or use the SenseMyDiet app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play (coming in English soon).
You can use the meal plans in a light version via the website and an extended version via the SenseMyDiet app (coming in English soon), which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
You receive the meal plan digitally, and it is always designed for 1 person. You can easily adjust the entire meal plan for multiple people or set each meal for a specific number of people. You can also link meals together over several days. The system figures it out and calculates how many portions you need to make. You can delete meals that you or the family don't want and insert meals from our recipe library with over 1000 recipes. In the app, you can also create your own recipes and add them. The app automatically counts handfuls and calories.
In the app under "meal plans," you will find a guide video that shows you how to use all the exciting features. You can find the video in the upper left corner by clicking on the info symbol.
Yes. We develop new vegetarian recipes every week. Our meal plans follow the recommendations of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration to eat more green proteins. About 30 percent of our total recipes are vegetarian, but our meal plans each week include green proteins, meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and low-fat cheese. You can replace animal proteins with green proteins yourself or choose eggs and/or low-fat cheese if they are part of your diet.
Our meal plans are digital, so you can easily delete the meals you don't want to eat or replace them with one of the many vegetarian recipes you find in our recipe library.
We spend many hours optimizing our meal plans so that the shopping list is as short as possible. We have calculated that it costs on average 20-25 kroner (2.87-3.59$ or 2.68-3.35€) per meal. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the price assumes that you have a basic stock of items like butter, oil, flour, and the most common spices and flavorings. Naturally, we account for the possibility that the price may be higher when we develop recipes for Saturday meals or holidays.
Additionally, the app features an "avoid food waste" function. This activates when your shopping list reaches a length where you can make one of the existing recipes in the library. This way, you can optimize your meal plan and avoid making it unnecessarily expensive to follow.
Yes. All our meal plans are digital. This means you have the ability to customize them however you like. When you make changes, the shopping list automatically updates. This also applies if you change the number of people dining or copy or link a recipe over several days.
Yes. You can create your own meal plan and insert recipes from the recipe library. You can also create your favorite recipes and add them to your meal plan. The app automatically counts handfuls and calories. Once you are familiar with the app (coming in English soon), it only takes five minutes to create a complete meal plan for the whole week and the whole family.
You will receive starter materials and be guided week by week with motivating features, so yes, SenseMyDiet will very likely be something for you. However, everything is individual, so you need to feel within yourself whether what we offer in SenseMyDiet speaks to you.
